Hypnotherapy: Clinical Hypnosis sessions are influenced by Milton Erikson. The sessions are unscripted and individualized with psychotherapy and used as an integrative tool with the client’s permission. The focus is for the Client to learn how to slow down their brain waves and move into a trance like state. While in a trance-like state, Anita will assist you on deepening your awareness of thoughts, emotions, behaviours and perceptions. The Client needs to practice these skills, which becomes easier and easier in "Building Brain, Heart and Body Connections One Session at a Time".
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: The focus is for the Client to discover how their thoughts, behaviours, and emotions can be changed or noticed. The Client can learn to solve problems, look at their core beliefs such as I am not good enough, and make change in their everyday lives. Clients may be asked to schedule activities that track their automatic thoughts or be exposed to situations that cause fear gradually. Relaxation and homework are part of this therapy.
Meditation/Mindfulness: Involves the Client to focus on a activity that keeps their attention, that supports them in letting go of negativity, and allowing them permission to take a break and rejuvenate. The Client can practice different kinds of meditations that can involve the use of all the senses based on individual preferences. This is also used in Hypnotherapy to bring awareness to the unconscious mind and enhance creativity.
